Bob has over 30 years’ experience that spans corporate law and public accounting to executive management in the life science and software industries. He has spent the last 17 years serving the life science sector as CEO, general counsel, and VP corporate and business development in biotech and data analytics companies where he led global product commercialization efforts. Prior to Skyland Analytics, Bob served as CEO of Aegis Analytical Corporation (acquired by Dassault Systemes), which developed BIOVIA Discoverant^® a manufacturing informatics software for the life science sector. Previously, he served as the VP Business Development & Associate General Counsel of Martek Biosciences (NASDAQ:MATK, acquired by DSM), as the General Counsel & VP Corporate Development of OmegaTech (acquired by Martek), and as a tax attorney with PWC.

In addition to being a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors and the New York and Connecticut bars, Bob also serves on the board of Sinopsys Surgical Inc. (medical device). Bob graduated with a JD from Pace University School of Law and a BA from the University of Michigan.

Rob has over 25 years’ experience leading financial strategy in technology and telecom companies as well as investment banking. Rob has been a partner with High Country Venture, based in Boulder, Colorado, where he was responsible for venture investment activity in the Front Range of Colorado and served on the Board of Directors of LogRhythm, Inc. Concurrent with his time at High Country, Rob was the managing member of RJ Partners, a private fund focused primarily on long-term public equity investments. Rob was previously Chief Financial Officer and part of the restructuring team of ICG Communications prior to its sale to Level 3 Communications in 2006. He has also served as Chief Financial Officer for ServiceMagic, Inc., Co-Head-Investments for Tango (a private investment company based in Boulder, Colorado), and spent twelve years with the Investment Banking – Corporate Finance division of Merrill Lynch & Co.

Rob holds a BS in Finance, summa cum laude, from Bradley University and a Master of Management, with honors, from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management.

Joe has more than 20 years’ experience in software architecture and design. He spent the majority of those years developing products for the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Prior to joining Skyland Analytics, Joe served as Software Architect and Software Development Manager at Dassault Systèmes BIOVIA where he managed the design and development of Discoverant®. Throughout his time at Dassault Systèmes BIOVIA (formerly Accelrys, formerly Aegis), he was responsible for the management of the Discoverant team of developers, and all associated R&D activities, along with the architecture, design and development of Discoverant. He also developed many of the core product features and the processes that the engineering team followed. In his early career, Joe worked as a Senior Developer for Sun Microsystems and as a technical consultant for Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting).

Joe holds a MS in Mathematics from the University of Michigan and a BS in Mathematics from the University of Iowa.

Christina has more than 20 years of marketing, product management and business development experience in global and emerging businesses, 15 of those years were focused on serving life science, healthcare, and data management software companies.

Prior to Skyland Analytics, Christina served as Marketing Director for ALN Medical Management, Martek Biosciences (formerly OmegaTech, Inc.) and Nestle Clinical Nutrition. Additionally, she was a co-founder of Knowledge Group, providing tactical and strategic marketing, product management, customer care, and business planning expertise to help small and medium-sized businesses increase revenue and establish a strong market presence.

Christina holds a BS in Cellular Biology from the University of Kansas. She also completed Product Management coursework at the University of Chicago and is the name inventor on 3 U.S. medical foods patents.

Mark has almost 30 years experience in senior level, global business development focused on bringing innovative solutions to the life science industry. His expertise combines a technical understanding of manufacturing challenges with commercial application of software solutions to result in maximizing value realized from improved product quality and increased process understanding. Prior to joining Skyland Analytics, Mark served as Senior Strategic Account Director, VP Sales, at BIOVIA. Previously, he served as VP of Sales for Accelrys and Aegis Analytical. Mark is also a member of the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering and has served on several industry advisory boards.

Mark holds a BS in Natural Sciences/Chemical Engineering and Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge.

David has more than 25 years of experience in consulting, project management, data management and data warehousing for reporting and analytics applications. He has spent 16 of these years focused in pharmaceutical and biotech manufacturing and process development. Prior to joining Skyland Analytics, David served as Director, Professional Services for Dassault Systèmes BIOVIA (and its predecessors Accelrys and Aegis Analytical) where he had responsibility for all implementation activities for Discoverant^®, the world’s leading informatics software for Life Science manufacturers, and for the Nexus data access and aggregation components of the product. His clients included more than 50 process development and manufacturing facilities worldwide.

David has both a BS in Applied Mathematics with University Honors and a MS in Statistics from Carnegie Mellon.

Brent has over 25 years’ industry experience and expertise in the application of statistical methods for use in reporting and improvement of pharmaceutical and biotech manufacturing processes. He also has extensive experience in application design, systems analysis, informatics software design and quality engineering for software products employed in Life Science manufacturing. Before joining Skyland Analytics, Brent served as Applications Group Manager at Aegis Analytical. He was one of the original developers of Discoverant^®, the world’s leading informatics software for life science manufacturers. He became a Certified Discoverant Implementer and deployed the solution in more than 50 process development and manufacturing facilities worldwide.

Brent has a B.S. in Math and Computer Science from Minnesota State University and a M.S. in statistics from Kansas State University.

Mark has over 20 years of experience and expertise in quality management, software search and selection, auditing and software validation focused in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Prior to joining Skyland Analytics, Mark served as Quality Manager at Aegis Analytical (Aegis was sold to Accelrys and subsequently Dassault Systèmes) where he developed Quality Management Systems, advised clients on validation strategies and satisfied dozens of audits from many of the world’s top life science manufacturers. His earlier experiences as a regulatory specialist helped clients define technical requirements, assess risk and provide qualification documentation for highly recognized companies including COBE, Fischer Imaging and Micromedex.

In addition to his work accomplishments, he holds certifications from the American Society for Quality as a Certified Quality Auditor and Certified Manager of Quality and Operational Excellence. Mark studied Liberal Arts and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Colorado.

Ken has over 28 years of experience and expertise in IT, Operations, and Product & Project Management focused in the software and pharmaceutical space. Prior to joining Skyland Analytics, Ken served as Director, Project Management, NAM at BIOVIA Dassault Systemes and held multiple director positions at Aegis Analytical. Previously, he was Director of IT at Rally Software Development, Director of Commercial Operations at Fischer Imaging and Director of IT at Allos Therapeutics and Genomica.

In addition to his work accomplishments, he is a Certified Scrum Master. Ken holds a BS in Computer Science from Cal Poly and an MBA from the University of Colorado, Denver.

Cindi has more than 20 years as a Controller, bringing senior level management accounting, financial analysis, compliance and operational experience to Skyland. Cindi has served as Controller for start-up and early stage companies in medical device, manufacturing and software development industries. Her expertise includes establishing efficient systems and controls; equity and debt financings, securities compliance (public and private); and corporate paralegal expertise.

Cindi holds a certificate in accounting from the University of California, San Diego.
